Question, Getting Nightmares Due to Jinn

Comment

Assalam O Alaikum,

I believe I have this particular type of sihr. I usually see about two hindus/black person in dreams and also 2 black snakes. I feel pressure in my brain all the time and also have very dark heart due to shaitan’s living place nearby.

I beleive they are strong shayateen because on one website, i was told that since I see huge houses/lots of buildings,it means that the jinns/shayateen are very strong ones unfortunately. I’ve also seen a person with body armour and when I shoot the person, he doesnt die or show any weakness. in my dream i’ve also seen a small insect but it was about 1-2 foot in size in bright red color. its light gave a little red touch to most of the room. it was attached to the ceiling above me and was about to attack me but didnt attack.

I am sure now you can realize what I am going through. Please give me any advice that you think I might be able to do while having to go through with this condition. JazakAllah Khair.

wa’alaikum as salaam brother,

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If one of you sees a dream that he likes, it is from Allah. He should praise Allah for it and he should relate it to others. If he sees what he dislikes, it is from Satan. He should seek refuge in Allah from it and not mention it to anyone. Thereby, it will not harm him.”
Recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.

What you see in your dreams may or may not be the cause of witchcraft, however, if it is a bad dream then it is surely the work of shaytaan.

I would advise a few simple steps that will by Allaah’s Leave keep you safe.

Before going to sleep,

1 – Do Wuzu (wash for prayers)
2 – Make sure your bed is clean
3 – Recite
• Surah-Fatiha
• Ayat-ul-kursi (verse:255 of Surah Baqara) – Read its translation so that you may realize its significance.
• Last Three Surahs.

4 – Sleep on your right side, recite “Auzubillahi minashaytaanir rajeem” and dry spit three times to your left shoulder.
5 – Recite the Dua before sleeping, that is – Allaahumma Bi’ismika amooto wa’ahyaa – Meaning – Oh Allaah, In Your Name, I die and I live!

Remember brother, the strength and significance lies in the meaning of it.

Let us look at Ayat-ul-kursi,
Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great.
How splendid, SubhanAllaah.

Whenever you feel threatened, simply remind yourself of the fact that you are Not alone. Always make sure you are in the state of Wuzu, if it needs a bath then do so aswell. That is your strength and you are to take hold of it.

I hope you get good sleep next time, Insha’Allaah.
If you have more questions, you are welcome to ask.

Wa huwa ala kulli shay’in Qadeer..

Assalam Alaikum,

JazakAllah khair for the reply. The dreams I mentioned above are after excess recitations and before sleeping listening to al-Baqarah recited by pious people.

Including the above, I recite 4th Kalima 100+ times morn/eve & other adhkars. It is just that I dont have any success in life, and it is a huge struggle for me to continue to live like this. Whole of my family suffers from sihr and Alhamdullilah we had a raqi to come over to help us. When he was reciting, all most all of the family members had some sort of pain in parts of their bodies as a reaction, except me. I think it means that the jinns inside me dont get hurt unless some serious treatment is done for them.

my struggle right now is not to avoid being bothered by shayateen, instead, to get them out of me or kill them inside me InshALlah. Alhamdullilah, as you can see I do my protection amals and may Allah kareem protect me and my family from all evils, but it is the sickness of the heart and mind due to shayateen living inside me, is causing all the issues for me..

I was hoping if you could suggest me what to get recited over olive oil perhaps, or any other things that would be beneficial for me and would badly hurt the shayateen and InshAllah eventually kill them or force them to leave for good. Also, if you could suggest from your knowledge, any Mosques or Islamic institutes (Toronto) that would get the recitations completed for me over a number of days, that would be great.

JazakAllah Khair

Wa’alaikum as salam brother,

We seek refuge in Allaah from the Evil of that which He has created. Brother, what I have mentioned in my last message is a generic Ruqya, suffice to repel Shaytaan if recited more and more. However, I do not stress to recite something specific or something a million times. For the key still lies in the heart of that recitation. You have to learn the meaning of it.

If you want my suggestions. I would advise to Do Wuzu and stay clean throughout the day, and offer 5 times Prayers at your Masjid. That suffices the requirements for repelling Shaytaan. 5 time prayers with Jama’at.

Even then brother, if you face such hallucinations and bad dreams then it would most probably be your superstition, and the dreams would appear from your sub-conscious.

Alhamdullilah, whomsoever I have suggested to start offering prayers 5 times with jama’at, all of them have replied me of success in their lives. I hope the same for you and your family Insha’Allaah.

What I am referring is the very first stage of diagnosing a Patient according to the Legitimate Raqis in Saudi. If someone does not offer 5 times regular prayers at his Masjid, then that patient is not accepted as being possessed by Jinn or Magic, but is suggested to start praying 5 times with his Jama’at; and afterwards, if the symptoms recur, then the Raqi proceeds to the following steps in his Ruqya.

Wa huwa ala kulli shay’in Qadeer.

Assalam Alaikum,

JazakAllah for the explanation. I do try to keep 5 times prayers, but at home because I live in the west and it is not easy to maintain 5 times at the Masjid. But I definitely appreciate your advice.
